Study of Non-Point Pollution in the Ashe River Basin Based on SWAT Model with Different Land Use

چکیده

The Ashe River Basin (ARB), long known as the “Golden Waterway” in Manchu, has become one of China’s most polluted rivers. basin area is 3545 km2 and total length river 257 km. There have not been specific studies on land use change non-point pollution ARB region. This paper uses watershed study area, simulates using SWAT (Soil Water Assessment Tool) model, analyzes hydrological processes temporal spatial changes nitrogen phosphorus with hydrology water quality objectives under different periods to reduce protect environment. results show that simulation runoff, even R2 NS (both coefficient determination Nash–Sutcliffe efficiency are simulated by SWAT-CUP, which generally used validate where closer result 1, better effect) watershed, also all above 0.75 good applicability during regular validation periods. Since 2000, monthly average levels progressively grown. areas concentrated middle lower reaches near main streams owing rise load per unit caused collection pollutants from upper outlet, an increase fertilizer application due larger cultivated land.

River Flow Simulation Using SWAT Physically Based Model in Barandouzchay of Urmia Lake River Basin

Nowadays, there are too many models in the world for simulation of hydrological processes, such as the SWAT physically based model. The SWAT model is a continuous and physically based hydrologic model that is the smallest unit in this model is Hydrologic Response Unit, and all hydrological processes are simulated in each of these units. This model can simulate runoff, sedimentation, erosion and...

Runoff Simulation of Land-use Changes Based on the Different Slopes of Erhai Basin Using SWAT Model

Changes of land use/land cover have a significant impact on runoff by altering the surface evaporation, soil moisture conditions and the amount of trapped ground cover, which directly impact the sustainable development of the watershed ecology. In this paper, based on remote sensing images, we simulate runoff of land-use changes of different slopes using GIS technology and SWAT model in Erhai w...

Land use pattern optimization based on CLUE-S and SWAT models for agricultural non-point source pollution control

Improper land use is one major cause of non-point source pollution. Integrated modeling would support the evaluation and optimization of land use for the non-point source pollution control. In this study, the CLUE-S (the Conversion of Land Use and its Effect at Small regional extent) and SWAT (Soil and Water Assessment Tool) models were coupled to simulate pollution loads under different land u...

Study on Vegetable Field Evaluation Index System for Non-Point Source Pollution of Dagu River Basin

This research combined data from soil, terrain and meteorological surveys, with quantitative data from soil and water field studies to determine the leaching processes of nitrogen and phosphorus contaminants from field vegetation into the Dagu River. Using the Gray correlation analysis method, precipitation and irrigation were established as the major driving force behind leaching losses from c...
